We just got an excellent review for Super Fly from iFanzine.com! My favorite quote:

While the fast and fluid gameplay is an utter blast, it’s the constant barrage of visual gags that elevates Super Fly well above the competition – honestly, words can’t describe the sheer, side-splitting ecstasy of witnessing a fly dressed in a sombrero and shades slicing and dicing swarms of mosquitoes with a lightsaber, or hulking out after a poo binge and unleashing a devastating flurry of punches on his enemies. Super Fly is getting a great reaction from players! It already has over 200 scores in the online leaderboards (something that took Super Juicy a month or so to achieve) and there has been a lively discussion in the TA forums. We made this game easy to expand so I’ve already been working on some new items with new gameplay effects. Here are some flys using a few of the new items!

Brandon (Berzerker Jr) recently released his game on the Xbox 360 indie marketplace. We’ve now converted the game to the iphone platform and added lots of new stuff. Its turned out really good, when you start getting farther into the game the guts really start flying! Here are some screenshots and a link to a YouTube Video.

We’ve been toiling away late into the night for the past week getting Super Juicy HD ready for the ipad launch! Here is a screenshot to give you an idea of the graphical upgrade to the game. The ipad is going to be a very interesting gaming platform! The screen is huge and you can really create some amazing visuals.

This image is actually clipped a little on both sides because the ipad screen is so high res that I cannot fit the entire simulator onscreen on my laptop even when its turned sideways!

We just got another excellent review from AppSmile.com! They really liked the game and specifically mentioned the soundtrack. One of the best reviews really, and since we got 5/5, Super Juicy gets a huge banner on top of the site for a week and it stays in a list of their “top iphone games”.

Super Juicy now a featured app on Agon-Online!

Agon is the system which we used to add global high-scores, achievements and social networking features to Super Juicy. It is a really great system. The code is very clean and easy to use and it is non-intrusive to your game. Users that like this sort of thing get all the features they expect while other more casual players don’t ever have to even see it. Adding achievements to a game is a great way increase the replayability of a game so I highly recommend checking out their system.

Recently they decided to put Super Juicy in one of their featured spots in their portal! Run over there to see for yourself! Agon Online

We got a new review today for Austin Morrow over at On The Edge Applications My favorite quote was:

“The soundtrack is also very funky too with bubble popping sounds and weird music that is very funny and firs perfectly with the gameplay.”

We also got some great iTunes reviews. For some reason some people don’t think they should like Super Juicy Of COURSE they should like it. Anyway here are a couple of really good ones:

When I got this, bubble popping and dropping fruit, I figured it would be something I’d never bother with, and just let my kids play it. Now after 3 hours I can’t put it down and the game itself is giving me a reward for being obsessed. What!? If someone would have told me I’d love a bubble popping, fruit dropping game I’d have told them they’re crazy. Well, they’re not. This game is great. What?! Really?! YES.

My niece has stolen my iPhone and won’t give it back. I asked her how many stars to give you and she said 214. I guess I owe you about 209. She hasn’t had much to smile about recently until today.
